The Rotherfield U6/U7/U8 Girls squad is a fun, friendly and fast-growing group, bringing together young players at the very start of their football journey. With girls across three age groups, Focus is on enjoyment, confidence, friendship and developing a love for the game in a positive and supportive environment.

Our sessions are built around a 3v3 format, giving every player plenty of touches on the ball and lots of opportunities to dribble, pass, shoot and score. Small-sided games help the girls build confidence, improve decision-making and learn the basics of teamwork in a way that is engaging and age-appropriate.

Across all age groups, the emphasis is on developing core skills such as balance, coordination and ball control, while also encouraging sportsmanship, listening skills and working together as a team. Most importantly, we aim to create an environment where every girl feels included, supported and excited to come back each week.

With committed coaches and fantastic support from parents, the Rotherfield U6/U7/U8 Girls squad provides the perfect foundation for young players to grow in confidence and ability as they progress through the club.
