Rotherfield United Achieve Prestigious 3-Star England Football Accreditation
We are incredibly proud to announce that Rotherfield United Football Club has officially been upgraded to a 3-Star England Football Accredited Club, the highest level of accreditation available within grassroots football.
This recognition from England Football reflects the continued hard work, dedication and passion shown by our coaches, volunteers, committee members, players, parents and supporters across every area of the club.
Being an England Football Accredited Club demonstrates that Rotherfield United provides a safe, fun and inclusive environment for players within our local community. The star rating system recognises clubs that offer an increasingly broad and inclusive football pathway, both on and off the pitch.
Achieving 3-Star status places Rotherfield United amongst the leading grassroots clubs in the country and recognises the strength of the opportunities we now provide across the club. This includes our commitment to developing football for boys, girls and inclusive pathways, alongside maintaining high standards in safeguarding, coaching, governance and club development.
Founded in 1973, Rotherfield United has grown into one of the largest grassroots football clubs in the area, now supporting over 500 players across more than 40 teams. This latest achievement is another major milestone in the club’s journey and reflects years of work building a welcoming environment where players of all abilities can enjoy football, develop confidence and be part of a positive team culture.
The accreditation also recognises the incredible volunteer network behind the scenes who dedicate countless hours every week to coaching, organising fixtures, maintaining standards and ensuring every player has the best possible experience.
This recognition is not the finish line. As a club, we remain committed to continuing our development both on and off the pitch, improving facilities, supporting coaches and volunteers, and ensuring football remains accessible and enjoyable for everyone in our community.
